Grant Description
The Anadromous Fish Restoration Program (AFRP)will provide $221,000 to Cramer Fish Sciences (CFS) to fund assessment, permitting, and design activities related to the restoration of floodplain and side channel rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Stanislaus River Knights Ferry Recreation Area, Knights Ferry, CA. CFS will oversee this funding and work with project partners to complete the assessment, permitting, and finalize designs for this project. The AFRP will continue to provide expertise through the completion of all phases of this project. The USFWS intends to award a single source grant because the award supports the continuation of ongoing work currently being implemented by CFS including project management, the development of conceptual designs, engineering and surveying, permitting, public scoping and outreach, and pre-project monitoring.
