Grant Description
This agreement is being implemented in order to coordinalt the Complaritive Survival Study (CSS) Workshop on experimental management of Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS) spill levels, which is a multi-tribe, state and federal agenct workshop being conveined to further rhe options for improving survival rates for listed salmon and steelhead populations. The objective is to design an experiment to test if the model predictions for Smolt to Adult Return (SAR) rates and in river survival rates (Harsaeker et al. 2012) can be achieved through maximizing spill, under current configurations and gas cap constraints. The experimental design will focus on Snake River stream-type Chinook and steelhead.
