Grant Description
This is a single source award for the Arizona Game and Fish Department to: 1) conduct biennial aerial survey flights for Sonoran pronghorn within the U.S. and; 2) conduct triennial aerial survey flights for desert bighorn sheep within the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. These actions will assist the Service in meeting goals and objectives for Sonoran pronghorn identified in the 1998 Sonoran Pronghorn Recovery Plan and for the management of desert bighorn sheep as outlined in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge Comprehensive Conservation Plan Wilderness Stewardship Plan and Environmental Impact Statement.
