Grant Description
This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits proposals from eligible organizations for assistance agreements in the form of grants under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Asthma-ETS Program and the Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools (IAQ TfS) Program. Proposed projects must support demonstration, training, outreach and/or education activities that reduce exposure to indoor air pollutants and yield measurable environmental outcomes. Projects should address areas of greatest need, where the most risk reduction can be achieved. Assistance under this program is generally available to U.S. States, local governments, territories, Indian Tribes, and possessions of the U.S., including the District of Columbia, international organizations, public and private universities and colleges, hospitals, laboratories, and other public or private nonprofit institutions, that submit applications proposing projects with significant technical merit and relevance. All projects must occur in one or more of U.S. EPA Region 5’s States and Tribes: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and/or Wisconsin.
