Grant Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Center for Environmental Research (NCER), in cooperation with the EPA Clean Air Research Program, announces an extramural funding competition supporting research to improve understanding of the formation of organic compounds and their climatically relevant properties. EPA is interested in supporting research that will improve the understanding of the linkages between gas phase chemistry and secondary organic aerosol formation and the interaction of anthropogenic and biogenic emissions. In addition to regular awards, this solicitation includes the opportunity for early career projects. The purpose of the early career award is to fund research projects smaller in scope and budget by early career PIs. Please see Section III of this RFA for details on the early career eligibility criteria.
