Purpose of Program: The Grants to Address Youth Violence and Related Issues in Persistently Dangerous Schools Program supports the implementation of programs, activities, and strategies that address youth violence and related issues in local educational agencies (LEAs) with schools that have been identified as persistently dangerous for school year 2006-2007 pursuant to section 9532 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84.184V. If you choose to submit your application electronically, you must use the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at http://www.Grants.gov. Through this site, you will be able to download a copy of the application package, complete it offline, and then upload and submit your application.
