Grant Description

The purpose of the program is to: (1) convene the existing group of EMCT Stakeholders and provide staffing and support to each of the six working groups, and implement the actions directed by the group; (2) lead the efforts of the EMCT Stakeholders Groupуs expert panel on preconception and reproductive health and to develop, provide and disseminate relevant technical assistance, administrative tools and other educational and training materials; (3) broadly disseminate the FIMR-HIV Prevention Methodology (FHPM) and to provide substantial technical assistance to up to 60 communities via a FIMR-HIV Prevention Methodology National Resource Center; and (4) optimize the FIMR-HIV Prevention Methodology to improve local perinatal systems related to other perinatal sentinel events, such as congenital syphilis or other perinatal infections.
