Grant Description
CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Expanding Capacity for the United Republic of Tanzania’s HIV/AIDS Death Case Reporting by Implementation of Verbal Autopsy in Local and Governmental Institutions through the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $750,000 will be available to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to enable to Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW) to maintain and oversee the demographic surveillance activities as well as implement improved HIV/AIDS death case reporting as aided by indigenous research institutions in the United Republic of Tanzania.
