Grant Description
Secretary’s Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS09-9114 CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Technical Assistance to the National Blood Transfusion Center [Ministry of Health (MOH)] in the Republic of Rwanda on Blood Safety under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $500,000 will be available to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to ensure a safe and adequate blood supply, as well as to develop and implement a national safe blood program with demonstrable results within the first year of the Emergency Plan.
