Grant Description

The purpose of the program is to support: (1) the development, implementation, expansion, and evaluation of population-based birth defects surveillance systems in low- or middle-income countries; and (2) planning for the development and implementation of population-based programs to prevent birth defects. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2010” focus area(s) of Maternal, Infant and Child Health.
