The purpose of this FOA is to enhance the capacity of currently operational surveillance programs (whether funded by CDC or other sources) to implement or enhance a population-based, multiple-source surveillance program for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities among children who are eight years of age, such that they may participate as a member of the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network. For complete program details, please see the full announcement on the Grants.gov website at www.grants.gov. The estimated funding period is June 2010.
