Grant Description

This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Reclamation’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. It is the intent of Reclamation and the USWCD to enter into a cooperative agreement in 2010 whereby the USWCD will: 1) identify potential habitat improvement projects in the Grande Ronde Subbasin; 2) coordinate fish habitat projects with local constituents; 3) define the projects for further consideration by Reclamation and other interested parties; and 4) complete site specific project objectives for the LCD-1 Diversion Dam Replacement and the CC-37 Catherine Creek Stream & Fish Habitat Restoration projects. Financial assistance for this project will carry out the public purpose of funding projects what will lead to steam habitat improvements within the Grande Ronde Subbasin which will benefit anadromous fisheries.
