Grant Description

The U.S. Consulate General Osaka-Kobe, Public Affairs Section, announces the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for an annual grant program whose goal is the organization of a day-long ЯAmerican DayН cultural and informational event in a prominent public location in or around Osaka to showcase various aspects of American culture while promoting tourism and study in the United States. Events in previous years featured stage performances of various American musical styles interspersed with informational presentations on study abroad and tourism in the U.S., as well as a wide variety of information booths (staffed by Consulate employees, volunteers, representatives from American universities, and other organizations), food vendors, and merchants promoting American products.
