Grant Description

Study the distribution, population status, and roosting ecology of northern long-eared bats and Indiana bats, and conduct acoustic surveys to document the distribution of all bat species across Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM) for the purpose of determining the impacts of White-nose syndrome (WNS) on their populations. Results from this study will enhance the development of an Indiana bat species action plan
