Grant Description

Through this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Departmentмs Office of Indian Energy is soliciting applications from ЯAlaska Native Regional CorporationsН and ЯInter-tribal OrganizationsН to provide technical assistance on a regional basis, to best meet the needs of their member Indian tribes, resulting in clear measurable outcomes or end-products that include a plan to become financially sufficient beyond DOEмs Office of Indian Energy funding and a methodology of equitably providing services across member Indian tribes or Alaska Native villages. Informational Webinar The DOE Office of Indian Energy will host an informational webinar for potential applicants on March 1, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 Eastern. In addition to describing the FOA, the presenter will describe who is eligible to apply, what the application needs to include, cost share and other requirements, how to ask questions, and how applications will be selected for funding. Applications must be submitted through the EERE eXCHANGE website to be considered for award. The applicant must first register and create an account on the EERE eXCHANGE website. A User Guide for the EERE eXCHANGE can be found on the EERE website https://eere- exchange.energy.gov/Manuals.aspx after logging in to the system. Information on where to submit questions regarding the content of the announcement and where to submit questions regarding submission of applications is found in the full FOA posted on the EERE eXCHANGE website. The eXCHANGE system is currently designed to enforce hard deadlines for Application submissions. The APPLY and SUBMIT buttons automatically disable at the defined submission deadlines. The intention of this design is to consistently enforce a standard deadline for all applicants.
